It's been 7-10 years since I've had to accompany JB on a field trip. Can't even remember where exactly we went. I'm thinking the UniverSoul Circus or the zoo. My memory seriously fails me (R.I.P brain cells). So when Nick's school announced that we'd be going to the pumpkin patch I hit the dougie, dab, quan. Clark's Elioak Farm is a Howard Country staple, having been around since 1977. It boasts animals, a hay ride, delicious apple cidar worth standing in line for, a pumpkin patch, The Enchanted Forrest and so much more. The weather was perfection all week, but, of course, today was a brisk 30 degrees, and I wasn't dressed for the occasion (I never am). We pulled up to this fun castle/farm situation.

We were introduced to our tour guide, Ann, who showed us around.

After petting donkey's, ponies, pigs, chickens, etc., we washed our hands at the washing station, and boarded the tractor for our "wobbly" hay ride.

The hay ride brought us to the pumpkin patch, where Nick picked out a(nother) pumkin.

Inspecting the selection.

Nick's top choice!
After pumpkin picking, parents broke off to explore the Enchanted Forest. I paired up with two of Nick's classmates' parents. Faces blurred because those aren't my babies to parade all over the internet, you know? Common courtesy. Not every parent (especially older ones - no shade) is about this digital/social media life, and I totally respect it.

Fun was had, animals petted, I made some new mommy friends, and, most importantly, created another great memory for Nick and I.
