Picture Day in H&M + Mini Vent

Happy Holidays! Hope the season is treating you well. I love any opportunity I have to dress Nick up. He looks great in clothes, and it's fun picking them out for him. He wears a school uniform, so I was happy to ditch the navy khaki's and white top for dressier H&M duds on picture day (which was back in October). I'd def say that Nick's style (I guess it's really my style for Nick?) is cool, edgy and preppy.  You can't go wrong with dress clothes for preschoolers from Zara and H&M. I knew these would serves as Christmas pictures, so we went with red, prepped it out with the bowtie and tied it in with the matching pants. I kept the look comfy with Converse since it was still a school day.

I just got Nick's school holiday pictures back, and I'm not too imPRessed with them. Here's the thing with school pics: since we (parents) aren't there to supervise, the end result isn't always desirable. Nobody's going to primp your child like you. So the photographer ends up capturing crooked bowties, knocked over coiffs and snotty noses, which we then get to send out as Christmas '15 keepsakes. Yes, I'm talking about Nick's picture. Fortunately, he's cute enough to where you overlook the little imperfections.
